- Add a new port to your slot and map it to internal port 8096 or 8097 ( your see the correct jellyfin port on your app )
- Open Jellyfin from your dashboard (and, if you haven't already, finish the configuration)
- In Jellyfin open the Dashboard (hamburger menu top left corner) and go to [Networking]
- Remove 127.0.0.1 from [Bind to Local network Address]
- Untick [Require HTTPS]
- Tick [Enable automatic port Mapping]
- Click save at the bottom
- In Jellyfin, go back to your dashboard and click restart, to restart the app (not your slot)
- Close the page and wait at least 2 minutes, then open Jellyfin once again from the your slot dashboard
That;s it, you can now connect to Jellyfin via your devices, you can use you seedbox address and the external port number you have added in step 1, followed by the jellyfin url. An example:
- Host: http://123.gsb1.seedit4.me
- Port: 8101
- URL: /jellyfin
TEXT COPIED FROM FORUM
1. Complete the steps mentioned in the above thread URL
2. Go to your seedbox dashboard
3. Scroll to Jellyfin and open the app
4. Copy the URL at the top of the new window that pops up, but remove anything after ‘Jellyfin‘
For example: https://123.xx20.see
5. Copy that into the Server Name field when prompted.(in the Jellyfin app — not seedbox app)
5a. If that doesn’t work, then attempt copying the entire url from the jellyfin (seedbox app) and start removing words/characters from the end until it loads properly.
6. Login with your username and password (if you created one)
