This guide will take you through the Organizr installation Wizard and help you put in the correct settings for use on our system. This guide is only for users on our old environment, as the new PVE servers will configure Organizr automatically.
Prepare a directory
The oragnizer wizard will want to put its database into an accessible directory. We have to create one first, our suggestion would be to create a directory called organizr-db. You can either use FTP or SSH to connect to your slot and then make the directory in your home path, the full path would then be: /home/seedit4me/organizr-db/. We will continue to use this example in this guide.
On the dashboard, hit [install] on the Organizr card.
Once installed, open the app via the dashboard and you will be taken to the installation wizard of Organizr. First, make sure to select a [personal] installation:
Hit Next and fill in the details, we suggest that you use the username and password of the seedbox.
Hit next and fill in the fields with passwords of your choice.
After clicking Next once again, you will no come across the part where you need to input the path to the folder you've created. As explained before we will use the suggested path in this example. Be sure to hit the test option before clicking next, if anything but a green arrow pops-up your installation will probably fail.
After clicking next you can finish the installation and login with the credentials you've picked earlier.
