To upgrade your seedbox we will need to move your slot to a different server, depending on what your needs are. Your old slot will go offline while the data is moved.
Please note the following:
- If you are upgrading to a higher pro plan please note any bandwidth you have used on your old plan will be added to your new plan until your renew date
- While we will do our best to migrate your data this can fail so make sure to back up anything you can not afford to lose
- The system can move 200 to 300GB Per Hour while the system is moving your data your Old and new seedbox will be Offline ( if you have 1500GB of data expect to have your seedbox offline for up to 8 hours from the time we start the move)
- Your Ip Ports and Url's will change to new ones
- We can not Downgrade plans if your looking at a plan with less harddrive space you will need to order a new seedbox and let your old one expire
- We can Not move you to another plan of the same type ie you can not go from Sidekick Pro to Sidekick NL or NL to Pro or 10Gb to NL
To upgrade your seedbox you can open a ticket. Please include what plan you want to move to and confirm you are aware that you will have down time while data is moved. We will invoice you the price difference needed and start the process. This can take up to 24 hours as the upgrades are done manually.
If you do not confirm your aware of the downtime and name the plan you want to move to No action will be taken until you do
Also please note upgrades are done Monday to Friday Only if you request an upgrade on the weekend it will not be started Until the next Working day
Please Note if you order a new seedbox without asking staff to upgrade you we can not move your data or app's and you will need to do this yourself.
