admin Posted 3 years ago | Updated 3 years ago | The wait is over, after one year of development and testing we're releasing a new line of racer plans hosted at our new data center in NL, featuring 10 Gbps Bandwidth , unmetered download, NVME buffered storage and green light for public tracker usage . While all 10G plans will be high end setups, the first two - called Super Villain and Ace - are the top of the line models with 6/8 GB RAM, 4/6TB HDD and 20/30TB Upload traffic per month. More plans with more affordable specs to follow! You can check out the details on the front page or here . In other news we've added another tool to our app library called rar2fs , which is a FUSE based file system that can mount a source RAR archive/volume or a directory containing any number of RAR archives and read the contents as regular files on-the-fly. There's an article in the knowledge base about it. Also, Nextcloud 21 is out, it's a single click install and we're now able to run it on PHP 8.0, which makes the workaround described here obsolete. Just press the update button on your dashboard and you're ready to go! We thank you for helping us grow and wish you all a good ratio! <3 seedit4.me |
Massimiliano Bus… Posted 3 years ago | Hello, thanks for this good news, is it possible to migrate a seedbox from another plan to the 10gbit one or do you have to buy a new one and reconfigure it? |
admin Posted 3 years ago | Updated 3 years ago | Re: upgrading, just submit a ticket with your request. We have guidelines on upgrading but i think those are a bit outdated now, upgrades to 10G should be possible with our new migration tools. |
Boltex Posted 3 years ago | Hello, upload limit is only for torrents or do you count PLEX, FTP etc.? Thank you Regards |
Peter Posted 3 years ago | All upload is counted |
Doug Posted 3 years ago | Would an upgrade to a faster upload speed mean a migration of your box if is has already been moved to the new data centre? or is it a simple case of adjusting the resources associated with it? 5 gig DL / unmetered up |
Doug Posted 3 years ago | If we add RA2FS does that mean we no longer need to unpack files to use them with Plex? |
admin Posted 3 years ago | In my tests it didn't work all too well with viewing certain content as it lacks the ability to "seek", but it's great for copying stuff without unpacking via rclone/ftp etc |
Peter Posted 3 years ago | @Doug the New pro can handle 4k But like all of our servers we do not allow Transcoding and 90% of 4K needs this so we just wanted to be clear not to expect it if you can Direct Stream 4k it will work fine for you |
