admin Posted 3 years ago | Updated 3 years ago | Over the past year, seedit4.me has been going through some massive changes behind the scenes, big plans which finally come to fruition and now result in huge upgrades for all our customers. We would like to take you through all of these exciting new features! First and foremost, we just opened our own data center in the Netherlands! While a large portion of our server fleet will continue to be located in Germany, our clients now have more choices which data centers they would like their seedboxes to be hosted at. We also added new apps to our installers, Deluge 2.0, qbittorrent, Jellyfin, X2go and many more. In fact we will focus on adding even more, now that all the hard work is done. There are two lines of new plans, both running on the new virtualization code and app suite, hosted at our new DC. The first being a premium version of the current plans with better specs, twice the download speed and public tracker usage allowed - and then there's the new upcoming Racer plans, hosted on beefy 10 Gbit servers, NVME cached storage, huge amounts of RAM and CPU. (Racer plans will be deployed in about a week) Within a few days we will start moving customers to new servers that are using our new backend. All the changes we have implemented prevent us from simply upgrading the servers our clients are currently on, including your slot. You have a choice to be moved early without any data retention, or to be moved within our regular process with all of your data intact.
We would like to thank all clients for their continued support over the last two years. Best Regards, seedit4.me |
