Due to popular demand we have brought back the unmetered plans, hosted at our new data center with 2 Gbit down and 1Gbit upload.
We have also added a new, cheaper 10 Gbit plan as requested: Say welcome to Chaos!
Also after analysing the "Pro" plan bandwidth usage, we are happy to announce a free bandwidth upgrade to all clients:
Enjoy and happy seeding!
Hey guys, we've got news! Over the last few months we have been very busy working on updates, it escalated a little bit so now we are here with a nearly complete overhaul of our user dashboard, website, virtualization backend, billing, apps selection as well as a ton of other new features! It's such a big update, you could call it Seedit4Me 2.0
In the next days we will be rolling out more and more of these updates and will keep you posted. And because we know you like lists...
...here are some of the major points that have been keeping us busy day and night:Fixed known issues with current apps and added a whole lot of cool new apps (you can see a complete list of available apps here) Website has been completely redone as well as the user dasboard, both now have responsive design and should work really nicely even on mobiles. We've even added a decent dark mode theme, you can switch themes on your acc…
The wait is over, after one year of development and testing we're releasing a new line of racer plans hosted at our new data center in NL, featuring 10 Gbps Bandwidth, unmetered download, NVME buffered storage and green light for public tracker usage.
While all 10G plans will be high end setups, the first two - called Super Villain and Ace - are the top of the line models with 6/8 GB RAM, 4/6TB HDD and 20/30TB Upload traffic per month. More plans with more affordable specs to follow! You can check out the details on the front page or here.
In other news we've added another tool to our app library called rar2fs, which is a FUSE based file system that can mount a source RAR archive/volume or a directory containing any number of RAR archives and read the contents as regular files on-the-fly. There's an 335

There have been a couple bug fixes with Sonarr V3 and several torrent clients: Transmission (3.00), Deluge (1.3.15) as well as Rtorrent/Rutorrent (0.9.6-0.13.6, 3.10) will install straight from apt repositories, which reduces install time to a few seconds. We updated to latest versions of Qbittorrent (4.3.1) and Deluge 2 (2.0.3) which will be compiled from source on install.
If everything goes by plan, in the next step we want to give you the ability to decide in detail which version of apps to install.

Today we have implemented loads of backend updates, frontend performance tweaks, and a completely new Knowledge Base (KB)!
While our hard-working coder is getting some zZz's we will update you on the changes: You can find the new Knowledge Base right here. We've added some new guides, but most importantly updated and revisited all existing guides. Some were no longer applicable and have been removed entirely, as we have implemented a ton of fixes in our last backend / DC update (found here). The KB consists of different categories and also makes use of tags, to let you easily navigate through the content.
We have added Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). While our old environment didn't differentiate between KB and FAQ, we now have a clear line between them. The FAQ consists of short questions with a sweet and short answer…
Just a quick heads-up: In case an app is suddenly giving you trouble, like it just happened to a few SonarrV3 users, simply click the update button in the app's menu, that should resolve any issues.
Works for other apps like rutorrent as well!

Over the past year, seedit4.me has been going through some massive changes behind the scenes, big plans which finally come to fruition and now result in huge upgrades for all our customers. We would like to take you through all of these exciting new features!
First and foremost, we just opened our own data center in the Netherlands! While a large portion of our server fleet will continue to be located in Germany, our clients now have more choices which data centers they would like their seedboxes to be hosted at.
We should post news more often, so here's a quick update for the tech-minded people who like to know all the details.

We have received a lot of feedback from users who would like to be able to add credits to their account, so they don't have to worry about an invoice at an inconvenient time. Ofcourse we have listened to you and have now implemented a new feature which lets you add funds to your account.
How can I add credit to my account?
The past few weeks we have worked on some new updates for your seedboxes and we are proud to announce them to you today.
This is an unprecedented time in our history. The COVID-19 pandemic is having an impact on the health of our loved ones, the businesses we rely upon, the health of the global economy, and the way we live our daily lives. As we all continue to navigate through these unique and evolving challenges, we want you to know that Seedit4me is here for you.
We remain open for business, We are still processing and fulfilling orders.
All of our employees are now working remotely, We expect to keep up with the level of support you expect from us, We ask all clients before opening a support ticket to check the FAQ and forums as your find most issues can be solved there.
There is some delay on getting new hardware online but we are working with our data centre partners to get more servers as fast as possible.
Thank you for being a Seedit4me customer – and for the trust you place in us e…
Along with a slew of other updates and fixes, like improvements to our port management system or update buttons for apps, we just pushed one big change:
Our billing backend now accepts Credit Card Payments. Which means you can now pay for our services with VISA and Mastercard.
That's all folks, thanks for staying with us! Together we will make this the best seedbox hosting service available!
Once again we've listened to our userbase and spared no efforts to give you full satisfaction: The process to claim a plex server instance so far has been far from optimal. Even the official solution by Plex was to use a VPN or SSH tunnel. Seriously? So we sat down and implemented a little helper for you in the form of a... Claim Plex button. Yep it's as easy as that, you install the app, click on claim plex, enter your claim token and you're done!

Lately we haven't been happy with the hosting provider we used to host our website at, lots of upcoming scheduled maintenance, connectivity issues, dns issues, even downtimes, etc. so today we moved the main site application, workers, databases etc to the same data center our node servers are located in. You probably didn't notice as it took only a few minutes. The main app and queue workers sit on a really beefy server now, i7 6700 HT, 64GB RAM, SSDs in Raid 1, Gbit line, with internal connections to the billing backend and nodes. Pretty awesome setup, just sayin' and it's getting better and better really fast!
In other news, we enabled the Flood app for all plans, it's a decent rtorrent web ui that has responsive design, which means it actually works on mobile devices.
Oh yeah and there's upgrade options now for your seedboxes, starting with a 0.5 or 1TB extra space upgrade. Just scroll down to the bottom of your seedbox page and select what you need, pay the invoice a…
In case you've missed it, we've implemented a nice little custom forum for our users to hang out, share invites, read up on best torrenting practices and help each other. Feel free to share info regarding seedboxes, scene, torrenting, privacy & security, linux related or anything else related to our service.
News posts are now part of the forum too, FAQs might follow soon-ish, if you are missing any features let us know. Have fun!
We've had several requests about FUSE which stands for file system in user space, it's needed for certain rclone mounts and other applications, so we've updated all current VM templates with a fresh compiled kernel with enabled fuse kernel modules. All new Seedboxes come with it enabled, if your seedbox was created before today, you just have to reboot it and you will be able to use fuse right away!
We have big plans to make use of this module, e.g. a full blown file manager for all kinds of cloud storage systems on your seedbox dashboard, easy plex mounts, rar2fs a file system that lets you mount rars, no more unpacking needed, and more. Enjoy!
