Hey, it’s been a while!
We’ve been heads down scaling our infrastructure and fixing stuff. Things are faster, sturdier, and ready for what’s next.

In particular, we’ve been hard at work on a major upgrade. For over a year, our team has been building a new Ubuntu‑based system (24.04) that will become the foundation for our seedboxes. This platform modernizes the OS, packages, and service management and is expected to eliminate roughly 90% of today’s recurring support request types.

What’s coming

• Ubuntu-based seedbox OS : modern packages, cleaner service supervision, predictable updates, and better reliability.
  
  
• Simple migration : once available, you’ll be able to reinstall your seedbox onto the new OS from the panel - either as fresh install (clean slate), or reinstall with user data preserved (keep your files; services are rebuilt on the new platform). ...Or just stay on the old version. 
  
  
• Infrastructure overhaul : our entire virtualization backend is being upgraded to newer versions with the latest tech, delivering stronger isolation, improved networking, and noticeable performance gains under load.

• We’re expanding our web services afterwards, moving to faster servers. Performance is already great; this is more about scaling speed and capacity.
